Who Cutie Nails Is For

This page explains what is inside Cutie Nails, who it is intended for, and what parents and guardians should know. It supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

What the App Does

Cutie Nails is a beauty and cosmetics app. You take or choose a photo of your own hand, pick a nail colour, finish, shape, and length, and the app uses AI to render how that manicure would look on your hand. You can browse a catalogue of nail designs published by professional nail brands and salons, try those designs on your own photo, and save the results privately to your device and account.

That is the whole app. There is no feed of other people's photos, no profile to follow, no comments, and no way to send anything to another person inside the app.

Minimum Age

You must be at least 13 years old to use Cutie Nails, as set out in our Terms of Service. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian review the Terms with you before subscribing.

Cutie Nails is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us at support@miramarlabs.xyz and we will delete the account and its data promptly.

The official age rating assigned by Apple is shown on the Cutie Nails App Store listing.

Content in the App

The imagery in Cutie Nails consists of hands, fingernails, and nail art. Specifically:

• Your own try-on results — AI-rendered versions of the hand photo you supplied, with a different manicure applied.
• Brand design catalogue — photographs of finished manicures published by nail brands and salons with accounts on our platform.
• App artwork — colour swatches, illustrations, and interface graphics created by us.

The app contains no violence, no sexual or suggestive content, no profanity, no gambling or simulated gambling, no references to drugs, alcohol, or tobacco, and no horror or frightening themes.

AI-Generated Images

Try-on results are produced by an AI image model and are simulations, not photographs. They are intended to preview how a nail colour or design might look. They may differ from a real manicure in colour accuracy, texture, lighting, and fit, and they should not be relied on as an exact representation of any product or service. Every result in the app is generated from a photo you chose to submit.

Social Features and Other Users

Cutie Nails has no social media functionality. There is no way for one user to distribute, amplify, or interact with another user's content:

• Try-on results and saved looks are private to your own account. They are never shown to other users.
• There are no likes, comments, follows, reposts, shares, direct messages, or chat of any kind.
• There is no public feed of user photos and no user profiles that other people can browse.
• There is no way to discover, contact, or be contacted by another user of the app.

If you save a try-on result to your device's photo library, what you then choose to do with that image outside Cutie Nails is entirely up to you and is not handled by the app.

Brand Designs and Moderation

The design catalogue is published exclusively by vetted business accounts — nail brands, salons, and artists. General users cannot upload anything to it. A brand account can only be created and approved by our team; there is no self-service route for an ordinary user to become a publisher.

Every uploaded design passes an automated content check before it is accepted, which screens for inappropriate imagery and verifies that the photo actually shows a manicured hand. Our team reviews the published catalogue and can unpublish or remove any design at any time.

If you see something in the catalogue you believe is inappropriate, please email support@miramarlabs.xyz with a description of the design and we will review it.

Camera, Photos, and Privacy

Cutie Nails asks permission to use your camera and photo library so you can supply a hand photo. Permission is requested only when a feature needs it, and it can be revoked at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security on your device.

When you run a try-on, the selected photo is sent to our servers and to our AI provider for rendering. Photos are not used for advertising and are not sold. Recent hand photos and try-on results are also kept on your own device so you can reuse them, and can be cleared from within the app. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

Purchases and Parental Controls

Cutie Nails is a subscription app. The download is free, but an auto-renewing subscription is required to use the app. New subscribers get a 3-day free trial first, which becomes an auto-renewing subscription unless cancelled in Apple Account settings. There is no free tier. All billing is handled by Apple through the App Store — we never see or store payment card details.

Parents and guardians can control or prevent purchases on a child's device:

• Ask to Buy — with Family Sharing, every purchase and subscription a child starts requires the organiser's approval. Set it up in Settings → Family.
• Restrict purchases entirely — Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions → iTunes & App Store Purchases, then set In-App Purchases to Don't Allow.
• Manage or cancel — Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Advertising and Tracking

Cutie Nails contains no third-party advertising and no advertising SDKs. We do not sell personal information, and we do not track users across other companies' apps or websites for advertising purposes. We use Firebase Analytics to understand how features are used and to fix problems, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Links Outside the App

Cutie Nails has no built-in web browser and provides no open access to the internet. A brand's profile page may list that brand's own website or Instagram handle; tapping one opens it in Safari, outside Cutie Nails. We do not control the content of those external sites. Beyond those optional brand links, the app does not navigate anywhere on the web.
